Open House Celebrations

This is a special anniversary year for hostelling, with 2009 marking the 75th Anniversary of HI-USA, as well as the 100th Anniversary of the worldwide hostelling movement.

Across the nation, and across the globe, Hostelling International will be holding special celebrations in honor of this historic year. Locally, the Los Angeles Council, in conjunction with HI hostels in Santa Monica, Fullerton, and San Pedro, will be holding Open House events during International Hostelling Week (August 22-30). The dates and times of the Open House events are:
