Is a marathon on your bucket list? Have you always had an odd fascination with the idea of running 26.2 miles, but never knew where to start? We can help you achieve your goals, while you help us to support our mission:

To help all, especially the young, gain a greater understanding of the world and its people through hostelling

The Los Angeles Council of HI-USA will once again be participating as an Official Charity of the LA Marathon on March 20, 2011. The LA Marathon has become one of the premier road races in the world, and we are excited about the possibility of growing Team Hostelling International!

Currently, the Los Angeles Council is forming a new plan to participate in the LA Marathon on a greater scale. Some ideas include an Official Team Hostelling International Training Program, race registration support, race day assistance, and much more.

We are currently looking to the supporters of HI-USA (you!) as potential athletes to run for Team Hostelling International next March. Over the next month or so, we will be finalizing the plans for our team and will start our program this Fall.
